Film music composer

About me
Diego Ayala Raffalli Portrait.jpeg
I'm a Venezuelan film composer currently living in Paris, France.
Since a very early age I've always felt an immense passion for music, I started studying guitar when I was nine years old and formed my first rock bands some years later. Before leaving my home country I had the privilege to study harmony and piano with jazz maestro Gerry Weil. When I arrived in France I pursued a music and sound engineering degree in the Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée University while at the same time enrolling in composition with Valéry Aubertin, counterpoint with Raphaël Picazos and electroacoustic music with Alain Gonnard at the Val-Maubuée Conservatoire. Alongside music, film has also been a great love of mine. I began studying a film score program in 2017 at the Paul Dukas Conservatoire with Gréco Casadesus which allowed me to compose for several animated short films for the Annecy Animation Festival. In 2022 I graduated with honours from the High National Superior Conservatory of Paris (CNSMD Paris) having finished a film score diploma.

In my music I wish to create an atmosphere of sound. I believe in the expressive potential offered to us by new technologies and the crossover of musical styles and genres.
